THE SONGS OF DUNCAN LAMONT

‘Gorgeous. Just the right tone. You hit it just right, what I call playful seriousness. Not easy to do.’
Marc Myers, Jazzwax

Esther Bennett’s first release

Just in time

The songs from the album were chosen from well worked in standards from the American Songbook and from an older sister’s record collection of singer songwriters of the 1970s & 80s.Popular songs that were of course fashioned to fit into the jazz idiom of swing, bossa and funky latin feels for the benefit of this album.
